Meet The Author

Denise Clarke released her first children's book in 2004. Do It Afraid is her second children's book. She draws her inspiration for children's books from her childhood, raising two children and topics that she believes are important for children to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Denise is also the author of "For There Is Hope Of A Tree", a scripture based book for women that teaches women the importance of letting go of negative influences and roots of the past to live a fulfilling life. 

She is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, but since 2011, she lovingly calls Enterprise, Alabama her home.
